"Psyche-16"- An asteroid of gold! | Mysterious facts44

Well, when we look upon the sky at night, it looks very attractive and charming and we wonder what makes them so! we know that the universe consists of uncountable stars, planets, dust particles, etc. and among them, it also consists of "meteoroids and asteroids". And among these asteroids, a new asteroid is has been discovered which is quite different from the other ones!

  This asteroid was discovered by the Italian astronomer Annibale de Gasparis on Mar. 17, 1852. Well forget to mention earlier, but this asteroid is known as "psyche-16".

 Well, most of us always heard that asteroids and meteoroids always cause destruction to the physical properties on various places and planets including earth but have you ever heard that these asteroids can also destruct the financial and economic growth too? Well, yes this asteroid, as I stated earlier, is unique from the others and can affect the physical as well as the economic crisis.

I know you are in a bit of confusion, what I am trying to explain!... So here we start⬇️

Why psyche-16 is so unique?

"Psyche-16" is not a rocky-body which is full of rocks, dust, and gases. It is an asteroid full of gold, silver, and nickel! Well, It is hard to believe but it's true! And if t N.A.S.A capture it successfully then it has enough quantity of gold, silver, and nickel that it can make everyone billionaire!  That's why it is so unique and harmful to the current world economy!

The Psyche Mission 2022!

The space research center NASA is planning to launch a spacecraft by the year 2022 on the asteroid Psyche-16 and as per their calculation they will launch it in August 2022 and it will reach on its destination by 2026. The main aim of this mission is to "determine whether Psyche is indeed the core of a planet-sized object."

 And this will be the first mission in history to explore an asteroid full of precious metals rather than some rocks and dust! They will send this spacecraft with a bunch of instruments like a multispectral imager, a gamma-ray, and neutron spectrometer, a magnetometer, etc. Let's hope this mission will be successful!

Can the success of this mission remove poverty?

Well, for being honest the answer to this question is "NO". It can't be possible to remove poverty through such a mission even. As stated earlier this mission can lead to the economic crisis in the world. And I am sure you are aware of this fact that "A thing is only valuable till it is unique or limited!". And the same case arises here...If we get plenty of gold and silver then their value will also decrease in the same proportion and hence it will be pointless to have such a quantity of gold when you see everyone is wearing it as commonly!

But, yes it can be helpful in other ways for sure...Well, it depends on the rate of success of the mission!
